Education,awareness & outreach guide

In 2021 we rolled out our largest educational program to date, The Pancreatic Cancer Education, Awareness & Outreach Guide.  It was integrated into educational programming to raise awareness and educate students and teachers about pancreatic cancer. Over 6,000 students from colleges, high schools, and medical schools have participated in the campaign. Some of the participants include Scranton High School, Rutgers School of Public Health, Lehigh University: Pre-Med Association, Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine, and William Paterson University: Public Health Promotion Class. This Guide can also benefit families, community, and church/civic groups. Email us for the guide here.

Our outreach

Awareness in schools

Jo-Ann Danzis Foundation has sponsored awareness and outreach activities with K-12 schools, colleges, medical schools, and community groups. Activities have included in-class presentations, health fairs, and art contests. If your school would like to plan or participate in an outreach type activity, please contact us. We would love to plan an event with you. Such events can occur during Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month in November or at any time that coincides with your curriculum objectives.
