Dr. Sidney Danzis Memorial Scholarship

Dr. Sidney Danzis, DDS,  was a long-time practicing dentist and member of the Middlesex County College community where he served in many capacities including: Adjunct Instructor, Research Coordinator, Chairman of the Department of Dental Hygiene Education and Chairman of the Department of Dental Assisting.

At Middlesex, he designed the Dental Hygiene Clinic and educational facility which was the first in New Jersey. Dr. Danzis received the distinction of Professor Emeritus and was honored by having the Dental Hygiene Clinic named for him. To honor his memory and contributions an endowed scholarship was established in 2006 after his passing. Scholarship recipients are selected with preference given to students who are Health Technology majors, have demonstrated academic merit and have achieved a GPA of 3.0 or better.
