Providing Essential Information

We Believe

We believe awareness comes from education. Through presentations, outreach activities, and online and print information, we are dedicated to providing information to schools, individuals, health & medical professionals, and community groups.

Our Education Guides are currently being updated for high school, higher education and community groups. These guides provide useful background information for audience types including general information and lessons combining health science, careers, and patient care for students who aspire to work in healthcare.

The Sobering Facts

Pancreatic Cancer has the highest mortality rate of all cancers, with a 5-year survival rate of 12%.

3rd Leading Cause

It is the third leading cause of all cancer-related deaths. It is expected to become the 2nd by 2025

Survival Rate

Survival has not improved substantially in over 40 years due to late diagnosis.

Long-term Prognosis

The time of diagnosis is critical in determining the long-term prognosis for pancreatic cancer. Much depends on the tumor's type and size and lymph nodes' involvement.
